im curious.
when budgeted time for animation the production managers are astounded by the figure i give
1 sec of character motion (24 fps) takes anywhere from 1-3 hours to key.
3 hours/sec if its fast full body action (no facial expressions)
1 hour/sec if minimal/latheragic/stationary motion
in a fast passed environment im curious, what deadlines are all of you working within?
the questions came up, do my figures seem over estimated?
afaik , for the past 18 months i worked quite fast, but comming out of college i could not have guessed what a "standard" time is, i just worked on something untill it looked incredible
