View Full Version : Import alpha ?

Attempting to import a .tiff that has an alpha channel. This .tiff has graphics and the background is transparent.

When in Photoshop the background is transparent. All good.

But when imported into Painter the background is white. Huh? Is there a way to import transparency ?

Thanks for any tips!

Hi,

In Photoshop, put your transparent background on a Layer, save in PSD format, then open the PSD file in Painter.

Painter's Canvas is always opaque so you'll have to deal with that somehow, depending on what you want to do with the image.
