looks nice, but i can't really tell what he's doing. and his feet are glued to the floor so i looks a bit odd.
nice model and rig though.

yea. nice lookin model. it looks like he is irritated by a flying insect of sorts, trying to swat it away or bite it. but i think you are going for ferocious. i would have him breathing there heavily with his wings covering him then move the wings much faster outward and have him yell and flex his muscles then give a pissed look in the camera. the tail moves around too quickly have a few purposeful moves with the tail. and whats up with the feet. why dont they move? good luck.

couldn't figure out what to do with the feet, the tail I think moves well, kind of like a cobra snap, looks better in better lighting... yeah I could have used some more breathing and worked on the timing..

If this is your first animation, I'm afraid you've bitten off more than you can chew. I seriously think you should do some bouncing balls first. A full character is way too complex for a beginner and you will learn much more from doing a bouncing ball. Sheridan will be more impressed by simple animation that's done well, than with complex animation that isn't. Show them you know the principles of animation and how to apply them before working on a full character. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Thanks an awsome character though! :D I wish I had a Balrog, lol.
