Well, technically starting an image with, say, 300 dpi, is supposed to not show pixelation. I dunno if its just in the workspace, but when I work on high-res images, I don't get any smooth edges, always a SLIGHT pixelation. Most of my work is needed for print, so it'd be really helpful if someone could help me out on this. I've followed the steps most media-content creation tutorials recommend, but still no...

what matters is if your printed image looks pixelated or is just pixelated on screen. if you're viewing something in photoshop and not at an even viewing percentage (and by that i mean viewing at 100%, 50%, 25%, or 12.5%) then your image will look pixelated on screen. pretty much anything you're creating at 300dpi should print just fine tho.
