Everytime i open Combustion 4 and try to open a workspace or import some footage i have to wait 6 to 10 minutes until the browser window appears!!! - The same when i try to save the workspace.

Any help would be very appreciated

I have the same problem with opening workspace but not with saving. It might be a bit faster if U turn off the thumbnails preview.

Did you import your footage from a network share or a directory which has changed?
If so, Combustion searches quite a long time for the footage files.
It might also help to delete the "host.ini" file in Documents and settings..." , but make sure to backup it before deleting.

You probably have some video files that Combustion doesn't understand (Xvid-esque amongst others) and it effectively crashes if you have thumbnails on and browse to one of these folders. Just disable thumbnails or save/import from folders with conventional codecs.
