View Full Version : Urgent Help:Mix8Layer can not make the same render with a shader

I am making a small project and have problem with Mix8Layer

In this picture, the carpaint shader is plugged directly to the car

But I want to put something like number on the car... so I must use layer shader and Mix8layer is well-known for this thing
First, I simply plug carpaint shader to base color of layer 0 and set number of layer to 0 for testing purpose

But with the same carpaint shader, when It is plugged in Mix8layer, the render result is very different

Could anyone tell me what happened and how could I solve it...

I plug the maya shader to the input of mix8, althogh my carpaint MR Shader is plug to mR shader of this maya shader but mix8 layer only read the maya shader as input
