Anybody try to rig the free Honda Asimo (http://www.honda.co.jp/WebPlamo/asimo/index.html) robot? The DXF version comes in pretty clean, just need to fix the normals. Other free Honda models (http://www.honda.co.jp/WebPlamo/) available, mostly vehicles, but also the P2 robot.

Wow! Nice job Me109, I really like your animation, appears like you did that quickly, well done. Cool.
You seem to already understand quite well how it moves. But Honda has a web site with some details and Asimo movies (http://asimo.honda.com/inside_asimo.asp).

Here's a run cycle... I watch the video of him really running at 6km per hour.. so this run is kinda unrealistic for the little guy..
Heres the animation (http://www.jamietelford.com/weblog/wp-images/asimo/Asimo_Run_sml.mov)

Again, wow, looks great, nice animation. That is one confident little Asimo, the real Asimo does seem to be a lot more deliberate and cautious. But making Asimo more athletic and lively is part of the fun (and I imagine what Honda is actually striving for). Great work, keep it up.
