hello..
i just rendered out a scene with a dof effect to it.. there was an object in the scene that had a use background shader to it to do some obscuring, (cg stuff wraps around a live-action object.. ) however.. everything in front of the obscuring object
("use-background-obj.") looks fine ..everything around it has a black outline.. alpha on cg in front of the object fades of nicely on the edges when the dof is blurring the image..alpha on cg surrounding the object, (in mid-air) is bulky and pushed all-white out to the edge of the blurred cg.. should i have un-premultipled or what..? ..this is mental ray btw.
