At the moment I'm trying to texture a car interior in XSI, but I'm having some trouble creating a credible leather texture. Does anyone know where I can get one? Ideally it'd be one that I could make a bumpmap out of too.

This is running on longer than I expected. I really need help with this texturing. Can anyone point me to any tutorials that might be of use?

i thought i might be able to help you out but getting a pic of my car leather is difficult at night so here is one i took of my leather jacket. Not sure it will work but if you want you are welcome to use it.

Both these tutorials are for 3ds max with V-Ray.
I've never used XSI but I would've thought a lot of it would be applicable to any package.

The first one is for creating a simple leather material. It also includes a good bump map.

The second is for creating stitching in leather. Also comes with a map which may be of use.

Just to clarify, I had nothing to do with either of these tutorials. Just posting links to them.

Hope they're of some help.

Cheers,

John
