 very niice!
one thing you might want is somesort of scale refeerence on the layout piece ... cause it is a really interesting artillery unit, and it makes me wonder how big it is :)

great model and textures tho !!

cheers guys :)

I'll try rounding off some of the edges when I get the chance, and for scale its roughly the size of a person, I guess I should of said that initially

Adding to what Nikodemus said, you could probably place awhite silhouette of a person standing up with arms straight down, like in those Dinosaur scale pics :) Anyhoo, I love the texture job! Hand painted or procedural? Also, how do you make the schematics shader? Perimeter alpha stroke for each piece or something like that?

the textures are entirely procedural using the bhodi nut shaders that are in C4D, the schematics are rendered using C4D's cell renderer :)

wow awesome work ! I just got cinema 4D demo for now, and really love it ! thinking about buying it, or buying Lightwave not sure what to choose... anyways, how do you make the textures? is it best to actually take photos and make your own? or did you make these with Cinema? or what? thanx
