Hi!

I've created a kinda cartoony looking
soldiergirl that I want to animate.
The body is completly modeled under the armour except for the hands. How do I attach the armour so that I only have to animate the body? Can I just link the different pices to it?
Plz help me out how to approach this the best way since I really have to get her rigged soon.

the armour is suppossed to be a solid object, so you can't bend it.
If you make it part of the rig, you're going to have problems with that.
So I suggest not to bind the shoulders armour to the rig, but do bind the torso, otherwise its going to be tough to avoit intersections with the armour torso and real torso.

The helmet should be linked to the head.

How do I bind things like the helmet to the rigged mesh?
I tried to just link it but that doesnt work

link the helmet to the head bone, and armour to the shoulder bone...
