this is a model ive been working on the last two days. its kinda working on some stuff im learning in my anatomy class, but its for a 3d production class. Im using 3ds max 7 and mostly modeling it in strips. Still new to 3d art work (only 2nd semester) and im only on my 4th anatomy class out of 30 this semester.

looks good. i must say, though, that while strips give you absolute control of the poly flow, i believe that you loose a sense of overall shape and proportion when using them. it's like life drawing, i guess, where you start drawing details before gesture. so, i don't want to discourage you, but maybe you want to at least model a templated figure in big forms (by box modeling or other method) and then use that as a guide for your strips. i say that because there's something about those shapes and forms proportions that doesn't seem convincing.

best of luck.
