check out some anatomy books and study it. when you go to the bathroom, read it. every chance you get. forget feng and everybody elses work. first you study anatomy then the style will come with time. its the best tool an artist can have.

I think that there is some interesting things going on in this picture. I like the concept a lot. The coloring in photoshop looks pretty good in some areas, but needs work in others. I'm not really sure why the face is a different color than the arms/chest. Also, the glowing on the hands looks pretty good, except for that halo effect you've got going. I think instead of having such an abrupt edge to the halo, you should spread some reddish and greenish highlights along the ogre's body and either diffuse the edge of the halo or lose it all together.
The anatomy on this guy could use a bit of work. Right now, he doesn't look like he has any elbows or knees. Also, his feet could use some more work...I can't really tell what's going on with them. It looks to me like he's supposed to be floating, which may have been your intention. Either way, they need more detail and definition to their form.
The only other thing that I noticed was that the sword on his left side looks really flat.
I think this has some promise, though. :D :wip:
