View Full Version : How to Stop Particle emitter??

I can start a Particle emmiter, but I need to stop it on a certain frame. This might be easy but I can't seem to find it. Even maya help said nothing.

select the emitter, and go to attribute editor, then go to rate/sec(make sure your at frame 1) and right click and select set key. Then go to the frame BEFORE you want the animation to stop and right click and set key. Then go to the next frame you want it to stop and set the rate/sec to 0 and set key.
