Hey guys,

hope it's ok that my first post is a question...I've been reading posts here and there and honestly shake forums are the reason why I have decided to try and learn shake instead of flame....

currently though I am in charge of actual work flow so I was wondering if someone who has the knowledge can help me...

I have 2 shake machines (Quad G5) I have set up a cluster made of both systems (4xthreads each).

problem is when I render out of shake, shake will send the render out to the other system on the cluster to render, the other cluster renders, but the system that sent out the command does not render, so in effect it's just one machine rendering instead of 2...

any tips?

ok I know this sounds stupid, but where?

I looked at the render sheet and there is no on this machine option... and I can't seem to find it in Qadministator either unforutnately....

well just for the record...after a few nights of getting very pissed off at qmaster i quickly reset everything to control the system via our muster platform.

As for the render on this machine button its in the system preferences you have to configure a quick cluster and set the machine to both procs. then go into qadmin and double check everything there. Finally set up the export in the submission thing. Pain in the ass..oh and here's the fun part it will randomly drop frames...for no f'ing reason whatsoever.
