Latest Update Feb 18
***********************************************
Im starting a Photo Real bust of this old dood. I just graduated and the biggest critique I got from my demo reel class was I needed a realistic human piece because most of my models were creatures.
Im using Maya to make the base mesh and then detailing it in zbursh, I got a little anxious and played with what I have done so far in zbrush.
Here is the Zbrush Render

and some wires from maya

The face is looking great man. I was wondering though, would you want to build up the extra skin in the base mesh at all around the cheeks? Then you could try and get some giggly bit action if you ever have the face rigged up... *hint hint* which I am dying to do btw.

I like it, man....
Can't wait 'til it's finished, then Case can rig it, then I can animate it.
Maybe he can be driving a monstrous Cadillac, then crash it, and I can have his body fly through the windshield......
I know you miss the old people driving in Florida.....

AtCase: Thanks for your comments, I suppsoe your right if you really wanted to add alot of jigglybits to his neck youd be limited but there is sufficient geometry to make the main skin folds deform, ill keep that in mind next time I do a head like this.
Nick: Thanks for stopping by and commenting, The texture is just an OldElfSkin material i downloaded for zbrush but i will be Painting the textures in photoshop and zbrush and then using some SSS in maya for the final shot.
HotGarbage: Im glad you like it I had only planned a bust down to his shoulders for this guy but if you and Andy want to use it for some animating your more than welcome to it once hes done.
here is a small update. I finally got settled after my move so I should hopefully get this done by monday or tuesday minus the rendering. As always feel free to give critiques.
