Hey forum,

Im hoping someone can share some insight on this current problem im running into.

Batch Rendering with MRAY.

1. I have a scene, its setup with objects that all have visibility keys. All the objects are textured and render fine when you hit the "Render the current frame" Button.

2. Now when setup the batch, and launch it the following happens:
-A, The objects that newly appear after the First rendered frame of the batch are all black. matte black with an alpha channel. I

3. Yet, when I render the same frame with the black objects in it with "Render the current frame" Button, OR. Batch a single frame ie, 242-242. The frame renders fine.

I think i should win an award for this problem.

Thanks guys.

Check off prune invisible parts in mr's render globals.

You can also make a batch script that renders frame by frame like this

render -r mr -s 1 -e1 -im imagename scene.mb
render -r mr -s 2 -e2 -im imagename scene.mb
render -r mr -s 3 -e3 -im imagename scene.mb
etc...
