It's been awhile since I've had something worth posting here. I didn't really intend on her looking as if she's in water, honestly, so the title's probably one hell of a misnomer. This took about 6 or 7 hours total in Painter 7 with some successes and and not so successes on various parts.

I love the lighting you got going there! Also character in general, as far as the pose goes. Its one of tension as well as looseness.

You're right, she does look as if she's underwater. A few bubbles and surface shimmer wouldn't look out of place! Very nicely done. Love the hair texture too.

great painting, I love her pose, the only thing bothering me is her face, the angle of the face looks wrong. but for the rest :thumbsup:

Brilliant work! Love the pose (especially the arms) and the hair makes it look very dynamic. Nice colours and i really like her proportions - those chunky hips make a change from the usual perfect supermodel women that populate these forums :thumbsup:
The only crit is that i think her head seems a little small, and that her brow area is too sharply defined.

Keep em coming - I always enjoy seeing new stuff from you!

Looks awesome, the only thing I don't like are the weird bulges above her eyebrows and the shadows around her eyes. Otherwise perfect :thumbsup:

I agree with Mwrigh12. Mess around with it for an hour or two and add some subtle underwater effects. I think that would put it over the top.
