Hello there,
I've been viewing a couple peoples wips here at the forums and I noticed there are lots of people talking about "edge loops"; How they are flawless, or how they need work, etc. What are the edge loops? I'm assuming their apart of the wire frame? I could be wrong tho..

Thanks for taking the time to explain this to me. :)

You can go here:

http://www.subdivisionmodeling.com/forums/

And click on Polygon Primer at the top and read all about it. Lots of good info here.

Also have a look at the sticky "Topology" thread in the modeling forum here. There's an extensive discussion about edge loops and human modeling in general.

Hey, speaking of human modeling, has anyone here checked out Ballistic's D'Artiste character modeling book? Is it worth buying? How are the tutorials, and how in-depth are they? And how many are there? Is the book primarily a gallery, or is it an even mix of images and instruction?
