View Full Version : Extrude madness
Rhid1en 12-09-2002, 05:22 PM Hey, I've been using Max for a while, am also familiar with Softimage and Maya, does anyone know why, after you've deformed a mesh in Max and then try to Extrude a face it will send the vertexes randomely out from the extrusion? I haven't had this problem with other software? Easy enough to fix, but still a pain in the :hmm: ? Just one of those little things that bug me a lot and was hoping someone might know why it does this?

Ooooh, the extrude problem. I'm not the only one having this problem, good!! :D
What I do when it happens: Conotrol + "z" , exit restart max and see there, it doesn't happen again! I've had this problems with all max versions I've used.
I'm sure there is a better way to fix this problem but I didn't find it.

This is also a problem I am having, here are some screenshots, if anyone knows any way around this besides restarting max, it would be great.

Click on the edit mesh (?) modifier with the right mouse button and choose collapse all. After that, the problem should be gone.
