Hi!

Does anybody have any good advise how to make a good transparent plastic texture? I'm making a medical instrument with plastic tubing attached. I only know how to add glass like texture for transparency. The tube should be transparent but with fog. When I added fog to the glass transparency the edges lost their definition. What kind of environment would be good to add so that the tube doesn't look too perfect?

Also, I'm trying to add folds to the inner lining of a stomach. Painting on bump and displacement did not add deep enough ridges. Does anyone know of a good tutorial for painting on bump and displacement using bodypaint 3D?

You could use Translucent (free or Pro) or Chanlum in your texture, to give the object some translucency instead of using fog.

If you are serious about getting into Bodypaint try 3DKiwi's Bodypaint DVD.
Available from C4D Cafe. (http://www.c4dcafe.com/3dkiwi/bpshop/index.html)
