Hey,

Clients keep on telling me my images look too dark, or the skin tones are off. Even when they look fine on my workstation.

I have a tablet pc that I use for painting and it gives completely different results. Dragging an image from one screen to another (tft to crt) showing massive differences in colour.

I know there are calibration tools and programs out there but is there anything for a guy like me on 0 budget?

Cheers

Simon

Oh forgot to note, that I'm talking about on their PC's, not for print.

Monitor Calibration Wizard is free and does a reasonable job:

theres the Nokia monitor test - google for it. It's free and does the job. It doesnt even require installation and is tiny - useful for taking along to other peoples' (or dealers') machines.
