Hi there!
I'm working on a picture , it's 20 days that I'm on it (only on spare times).
I would like to find the right proportions on the face (the eyes were moved, rotated, scaled so many times!!) so I will handle the eyes again, I know that you will thinnk they're weird :)
The background for first was this landscape but seen from a window (that wasn't finished) behind the girl, I think that the open view it's better, what do you think about it?

I find this is very beautifully painted. The girl looks like she's on vitamins ! Healthy look. I like the way it's painted somewhere between illustration and photorealistic. I think I prefer the latest version.

The only thing I would say is add some more canvas to the bottom and it will be perfect !

I'm so crazy that I'm doing what you suggested :D
and it will be hard to do all those particulars of the sweater :P

I wonder if I wouldn't go for a more illustration look for this one ? some soft brownish outlines ?
It sort of reminds me of some illustrations in some childrens' books I read for my children ....

They again reminded me a bit of the Swedish painter Carl Larsson - try to look him up on Google if you're interested - he was a very interesting fella - poor and sick and had a lot of kids to feed - some of them died, but he managed to convey a lot of optimism and joy in his drawings anyway.

Thank you very much..I'm honored to be compared to an artist like Carl Larsson, I saw his paintings and I love his style.

I hope to achieve that quality one day :)
