View Full Version : Querying the Project Path
trevlb 02-03-2006, 06:57 PM I am trying to query the project path via mel. I have looked at the MAYA_PATH environmental variable via the "getenv" command, but it doesn't seem to reflect changes I make to the current project path. It only returns what I explicitely set via the "putenv" command.
I may be missing something. If anyone can help with getting that method to work, or has another way, that would be great.
Thanks

I don't have Maya open, but could this be found with the internalVar command?

Mikademius,
thanks for the suggestion. i tried internalVar, but that seemed to just point to my user/maya/projects directory. it did not change when i would change the current project via setProject, or the ui. if you have any other thoughts let me know.
thanks
