View Full Version : Property window differs from the Reference

While max8 nicely works together with all old plugins I simply copied them over from my max7 install and I guess I overwrite some updated dlls in max8 :-/

this is the Projection Option window as shown in the Reference:

and this is what I have in my max8:

can someone help me to find the appropriate dll? My buddy has the original window, so I guess I just need to copy the file from him, If I know WHAT file it is :)

Customize / Plug-in manager
and now look for "Projection modifier" in the Description column and
there you have the name of the plugin file and the path.

No, I tried this already. Projection modifier is just the modifier, not the Option window.

You are right. I was no trying myself what I wrote.
Well, I found today what the file is (I was searching for another thing and
I remembered your problem when I see the file). The file is: Macro_BakeTextures.mcr
placed in \Max8\UI\MacroScripts
You are using the Max7 file: macro_baketextures.mcr (Note the capital
letters in Max8 for all the macros in that directory).

I guess this comes late and you reinstalled Max sure.:curious:
