This is my first ever 3d post... I just started working with maya this month - so sorry if this really sucks. I am going to school at IADT Tampa studying Computer Animation - and this is my first 3d term. This was for a class project... It is all NURBS surfaces - and the texturing isnt complete...

There are still a couple elements of the guitar that I need to model such as the tightening knobs at the top and the input at the base... and the whammy bar.
The guitar is based off the Jackson Dinky Series which I own.
I'd like to try to give it a custom paint job once I am done modelling - if I can figure out how to do that!!! LOL!

Your comments and critiques are welcome!

Cheers!

PS - here are some 2d drawings I've done also - feel free to check em out!

Hey man,

Thats a great start on the guitar, looks good. But i was muchly greater impressed with your 2D skills, very nice artwork. If your 2D skills are good, you will usually do quite well in 3D, so im sure you will be fine. Keep on working the 3D stuff, i bet you will be good!!! :)

Matt

Blend on, and blend well!!!
