We are currently looking to fill an Technical Art Lead position on anupcoming high-profile title. Artists will contribute to the creation of the look and feel of the visual content in our console games. All candidates must submit a demo reel, CD/DVD or URL of recent artwork.


Qualifications:

· 7 years professional art experience.


Experience with Maya for a least 5+ years
5 years experience working with visual effects programs


3D programs such as Maya, 3D studio max, Houdini, Soft Image
2D composition software such as digital fusion, after effects, etc.
2 years experience writing tools with Mel
2 year experience Maya API
2 years experience C++
3D math: basic linear algebra (trig, vector math, matrix math)
Must have a strong understanding of visual effects production development
Must have a strong problem solving skills
Knowledge of animation systems
Ability to write rendering shaders a plus
Traditional art skills and strong portfolio


Demonstrated ability in providing art critiques, both visual and verbal
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and visual
Strong proficiency with one or more of the following 3D software
Maya, 3D Studio Max, Z brush, Lightwave.



PLUSES:


Proven track record shipping games
Strong interest in games
HLSL or CG a plus
Formal art education, BFA from an accredited art/design school preferred

Sample Work Required:
All artist applicants must submit the following:


Demo reel DVD/VHS/CD or website with samples
Explanation of submission, what you were responsible for, what tools were used, etc.
