*I apologize for making this post twice, I wasn't aware of the refresh time.

This is my first time posting on these forums, although I have browsed them before. Sorry if this is a very elementary problem, but this is my first time trying to fully rig a character. I have modelled blend shapes for the face, but when I apply them, they work fine, but I cannot translate the body around or else the head either stays in place (if I lock all the channels on the blend heads before making the blend shapes), or kinda of moves in the opposite direction at the same rate the body is translating (shown in screenshots).

before body translates:

after:

Thanks for any advice you guys might have, and please let me know if I can provide any more info as to make answering the question easier.

Select your head geometry and check the order of the inputs. The order the deformation occurs can cause this to happen. Check whether your blendShape node is before or after your skinCluster node in the geometry's input stack. (The >[] arrow going into the box looking icon on your tool bar)

You can use your middle mouse button to drag and change the order.
