View Full Version : Jpeg sequence - bad render quality

Salut,

I recently tried rendering a jpeg sequence with an original resolution
of 1650x1150 via a composition of 1024x576 pixels. However, no matter which codec and format I opted for, the rendered file showed very bad quality, although the original image resolution is quite high enough to allow for decent qualtity. Is this due to the jpeg sequence resolution or did I miss out on something else? The renderings ran at highest quality each.

Thanks for helping out,
Martin

Sounds weird.

Try posting screenshots of before and after, and post your compression settings, too. AVI, Quicktime, Divx, Sorenson? At what rate?

Try to export to a totally uncompressed format.

Cheers,
- Jonas
