I am working on some armored vehicles. I am trying to export so that another person can use the files in 3Dmax. I made two models and exported both as fbx files. The person using 3Dmax opened them but the UV mapping no longer lines up with the texture images I created. I d/l'd the fbx's I made and imported them into Maya. They look fine and the textures line up nicely.
One of them opens up and looks fine but the second keeps giving me this display. What are all the reference marks and how do I get rid of them? Every fbx I create for this one does this.

What is going on and how do I keep these marks from appearing? They do not exist in the original Maya file I exported to fbx. I have two versions of the model, one as a single object and the other as multiple objects. They both do this.
