Galaxy Quest was modeled in Hexagon a modeling software put out by eovia and then rendered in Carrara 5 pro version.
Back drop painted with the aid of a wacom graphire 3/ intous 2 tablet, paint programs used are Photoshop 7 and Corel paint 12.
Thanks for taking a peek and maybe leaving a comment or two would sure be nice.

Food service director? Really? I think you're in the wrong business. This is gorgeous! Amazing detail and sense of scale. It's truly one of the finest spaceships I have ever seen on the 'net - and I'm a bit of a spaceship fanatic. Excellent work.

great ship ! i like the background too

perhaps the textures are too clean. Moreover perhaps that it will be more impressive with a better render engine like the brazil one....

hey man, saw this before, i believe you may have the alias of odessey? newayz, this is excellent work my friend, i love it :-)

Yes its true my alias on Renderosity and some other galleries is called "Odessey" I dedicated my current name here at the CG as "Palantion" to my grand fathers village in Greece it is a really small remote but beautifull village not even a highway going thru it .

Thats such a beautiful scene you've created! The way its rendered along with the textures give it an organic fantasy feel, no so hard in the CG zone. Wonderful work
