Title: Effigy
Name: Frederick Ellis
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop
I was going for an ancient autumn look, if there exists such a thing. I modeled everything in max and
made the dipslacement maps and textures in photoshop. This is my first entry, and to be honest, the most work I've put into a piece of art in ages!lol. C&C are welcome.

What a beautiful render, congrats. The one critique i have is with the trees in the far background. Maybe you should make it abit darker and blur it a little just so you can get it out of focus. Its a minor thing but thats what i found :)

nice render! nice textures and lighting!nice modeling too!
got no big critz but IMO the tree to the left and the bush in front of it looks a bit "plastic". Also I would've prefered a straight horizontal view.
but hey!nice work!

Thanks for the comments, I was thinking of possibly placing a figure in the background, any suggestions?
