It's actually up 5% as we speak.
It did plunge last week tho. I've been following the situation for some time, and I can say that all the controversies and lawsuits seemed to have little effect on T2's stocks. It has been going down because the company is unable to generate strong sells. The recent lawsuit just happened at the same time that T2 released their latest financial results, which were less then stellar. Other than GTA and some sports games they need to pump out more quality titles.

About the hot coffee thing. I think Take-Two should be fined, but I think any lawsuit against them by a 'concerned parent' should be tossed out:
1. The content was in there, that was wrong, period.
2. The content was covered up in the code, it wasnt something just -in- the game.
3. GTA is a violent game, in which you bang hookers in cars, then beat them up if you choose to. The only 2 differences between that and the illicit 'sex' scenes is that - you see badly pixelated nudity, and you dont beat the woman with a bat afterwards.
Because of what was already in GTA, I think any parent even TRYING to argue the 'omg my son saw digital nipples' argument is pretty much useless and only an attempt to win some huge money settlement for 'mental anguish'.
I really wouldnt miss take two if they went under, those guys are pretty stupid.

not as stupid as people who think inventing a new video game genre is no big deal.

You can't monitor everything employees do, just like your mom can't monitor everything you post on a forum. :D

It closed up 10%, so there:p
I think this will force T2 to rethink their approach, altho I don't believe GTA is an issue, it's a great seller. Lawsuits and controversies have never really affected the company, only the ban of GTA did, and the lack of hit titles other than GTA.

I don't see why people call these devs stupid. Their games are fun and GTA3 was pretty innovative along with GTA1 of course. I am interested in how this bully game will turn out too. If i don't like it fine but at least tehre is innovation or an attempt to do something new.
