Has anybody used the new HD Canon yet? It's apparently based on the XL-1/1s/2 line, but costs almost twice as much as an XL-2. It also supports Genlock, interestingly enough. What do you guys think? Is it worth the extra money over an SD XL-2?

DV.com (http://www.dv.com) has an interesting article about the new (cheap) HD camera's. I'd try to get a demo, or rent it from a company before buying.
