Title: Concept Car
Name: Andrea Biffi
Country: Italy
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

At last I completed my 3D vehicle. It's a three wheels vehicle, with a strange design which seems midway between old and futuristic style. I wanted to make something new, different from any other car I've ever seen. So I projected a rear steering gear, a big rear wheel with inside it a powerful engine. The front wheels couldn't steer and the've two disc brakes applyed at external sides of the rims. With a little of imagination this car could also work ;-)
I modeled it in 3DStudioMax5 and made the few textures with Photoshop.
Here is another thread with a realistic render of this car in a raining night environment: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=311875

Good modelling.
If you have controlled a forklift you would know that rearwheel steering is not good at high speeds.
nice job and keep modelling

Nice job there, looks great.

Edit:
If you have controlled a forklift you would know that rearwheel steering is not good at high speeds.

As this is true, unless it was computer controlled. I have seen a car on the discovery or history channels where it was attempting to break a speed record with rear wheel steering. Granted that is a straight shot, but it is possible.

Thank you jk_ksu, at last someone who support me ;)

Hi Clown, the polycount is about half a million of polys... if I remember right.

Thank you all for the comments

the car looks great, Andrea. I'm really digging the detail you've got going in the rear section, especially with the exposed engine.
