This is the first time that I post on cgtalk.com because I didn't think I was nearly good enough to be showing my work here. Here is a concept image of a game concept called Liia that I was working on with a school team. I am currently still attending The Art Institute of Vancouver - Burnaby as a student. The image was revised for about 5 times to get to this stage, please feel free to give more feed back and critiques ~ thanks!

It's a very nice picture - I can't really say that there's anything wrong with it in my eyes.

Personal taste : I would have liked it a bit more saturated, contrasted and with some colored background.

But very nice painting :)

Very nice. The face feels like a fine line between young and mature (which fits the subject character excellent I think).

The eyes are right, not to odd to be alien but different enough to be eye catching. The right one looks just a tad far to the right.

I dont have a problem with the saturation levels. Maybe if you placed the image on a 50% gray background it would pop a lot more since the image itself loses itself in the white.

Great work, keep it coming :)

haha thank you all for the replies and comments. I have been really busy with my demo reels so I haven't been able to post any replies. Hope you guys liked the piece, I will try to squeeze out sometimes to do more paintings because I just love it haha.
