Fox hasn't made the announcement yet, but it has been confirmed on Billy West's (Fry) website.

I know a lot of people on these forums will appreciate hearing this. Personally, I think Futurama is the best animated series on television. It has such interesting locations, backgrounds and characters, not to mention being funny as hell.

Here's hoping we see these new episodes soon. The thought of a full length Futurama makes me all giddy inside!

i was so mad when they cancelled futurama and have been waiting for them to finally see the error of their ways and bring it back. this is the next best thing, i just hope that the movies still have the feel and flow that the show did.

Fantastic news. Great to see DVD sales have saved, at least somewhat, one of the better shows on tv.

Haha, that 80s dude is great, one of my favorite episodes.

Btw, has anyone listened to the DVD commentary track for Futurama? I never listen to those things, but I thought I'd give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! David X. Cohen and Matt Groening are funny guys and their commentary was very informative.

It's why we are seeing more and more DVDs of TV shows; everyone wants their tv.... but with end user control. DVD's of tv shows are like having a PVR without the hassle.

Now if only you didn't have to hack your DVD Player or deccrypt and copy your DVDs to get rid of PUOPs (prevented user operations!) like the ones that force you to watch ads everytime you load a DVD.
