CGTalk - Cannot write c4d R9 files

View Full Version : Cannot write c4d R9 files

i have a particular project folder which will not allow me to save my R9 files to. this folder is in my documents folder on my system drive. any other app works fine, and the finder (os 10.4) allows anything. this does not make sense to me. just R9, and just this folder are having issues. i have verified that all permissions are setup correctly. anyone ever have a problem like this?

Every now and then, I can't write or save a file.
When that happens, the problem is most often
in render settings >>>> save >>>> path.

I usually need to delete the info in that field
and all is well.

Last ditch effort, dupe all items to a new file and save.

it's nto a rendering that i am trying to save. it's my c4d file. makes no sense. i even made a new folder in my finder, copied the files over to it, and i cannot write to that either! c4d 8 works for some reason.
