Invisible Arts (Burbank, CA) is now seeking a team of outstanding Maya animators for a major CG production of a Sci-Fi / Adventure genre film.
The animators will be dealing with extensive 3D character animation work, which includes diverse motion and animalistic enactments, as well as very detailed facial expressions on main CG Characters.
Animators must show a comprehensive understanding of realistic timing, motion, weight and acting for character animation. Lip sync is definitely a great plus, however try to keep the focus on real-looking full body motion. More importantly, do not emphasize gaming or cartoonish animation style too much; show off your animation work at mimicking mo-cap like or acting animation on bipeds and quadrupeds.
Requirements:
* Show strong understanding of real-looking physical motion, weight, balance and timing
* Fluency in Maya
* Ability to work collaboratively and be an easy going team player
* Must be open to direction and able to embrace changes
* Demo reel (URL's are fine, but DVD's are highly preferred)
* A minimum of 2 years experience is highly recommended
Please post your resume and online reel or any other inquiries to hr@iavfx.com - or mail it to:
800 s. victory Suite 203
Burbank, CA 91502
(DVDs or any artwork material cannot be sent back. Please SEND COPIES ONLY!)
Due to the volume of submissions, we may only be able to reply back to the qualified candidates. Thank you very much for your cooperation and interest in IA.
