i`m currently modeling this robot for a 1on1 friendly modeling challenge so I decided to post some pics here
firstly this robot starded as a few lines on a paper sheet, then i picked my favorite sketch i began modelining so this is that i have now
i`m modeling in 3ds max and now the whole thing is 1.5mln polys
so i`m just posting all the Images i have for now

Looking goot man the parts all seem to be flowing togeter nicely . Nery nice edges and use of geometry. Are you just wonging this or are you going from some ref that you drew or someone else did. Would love to see the concept. Overall good hardsurface modeling.

very cool! nice level of detail in there. The configuration really reminds me of the bugs from Starship Troopers.

This sounds good! I agree with level of details, a lot and great. Design is fantastic, yes, there is still not much to see, but completed parts looks great. Good luck! :)

and about the starship troopers i think that it looks similiar because the panels on the sides are currently open and they remind some sort of little wings

no i`m not going to animate maybe to rig some of the legs for posing purposes my primary task is to finish modeling
