View Full Version : Strange Mesh Error

Hi All,

I wonder if you can help?

I was just nearing completion of a walk cycle, and I loaded it to finish the animation...only to find that my character mesh is now unaffected by any of the bones???? (See attachment)

The model has not changed in any way, and it has worked fine up until now.

I just cant seem to get it to load properly anymore.

Any ideas?

in layout, object properties (press "p") set *deformation?* order to "last"

are your parts weighted and are the bones set to those weights?
in the bones properties of the character there should be a "use bones from" or something like that.
maybe that's the motion options?

Thanks guys...i have found the error!

It turns out that in the bone properties, 'weight normalisation' was checked.

Turning this off has sorted things out :)
