Maybe there should be a froum where there some sort of challenges (2d and 3d) where a admin or someone else thinks of a character scene or objet that you have to draw/model. or where someone posts an idea and other ppl can use that idea to create a model/drwaing of the idea and he can say wich he likes the most :)

this could be handy for ppl without inspiration ... like me :)

Sounds like a great idea for a thread in the Modeling (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=25) forum. I don't think it needs to be its own forum.

I think this is a great idea! Could prove very useful for people learning 3D as everyone will be participating in the same topic and people could help each other out and give critiques.

Personally I would rather participate in something like this rather than coming up with my own ideas to model/draw as I would be able to learn off others being rather new to 3D.

So yeah, I hope this idea goes ahead!

This is pretty much what the Daily Sketch Forum (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=130) does. Have checked that out?

Yeah, I've seen the Daily Sketch Forum... I think it's great and I'm planning on participating in that very soon.

I'm more so hopeing for a 3d version of what the DSF is, but perhaps a longer deadline.... Like the 'Weekly 3D Challenge' or something like that. I think that would be really good :thumbsup:

Just found this in the Unofficial Game Art Challenge (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=314284) board, which seems right up my alley. :thumbsup:
