View Full Version : Leather Textures Help.
Neph57 01-23-2006, 05:33 AM I'm currently working on a monk character his attire consists of leather vest, gloves, and pants with straps. I'm having trouble getting a good leather look for these items. Are there any tutorials or even suggestions as to a good texturing method for this. Please note i'm not a good texture artist, i'm trying to get better. I use Photoshop CS and Maya 6.5. Thank you for any suggestions you may offer.

This may help out. The first part of the tutorial uses max as an example, but it also discusses a lot of general info that will be helpful, and there's a maya example scene at the bottom of the page...
