Title: La Barca Del Pescatore
Name: Enrico Cerica
Country: Belgium
Software: Blender
This is a typical fisher boat you may see (from less to less) on the lake of Bolsena in the center of Italy. I've tried to reproduced the ambient of this nice place with this two characteristic elements, the boat and the reeds. The boat has been modelized based on photos I took during my travel in this wonderful country.
Created and rendered with Blender 3D using Ambient Occlusion.
Water has been made with a procedural texture.
The landscape in the background is a photo.
C&C are of course welcome.

wow looks really nice...
i'd replace the background picture though, maybe just my taste but i think doesnt fit the colors, I'd search for a pic which contains the tones of the grass and the boat - would give the picture a more consistent look.
beside that thumbs up, great work

Really nice work!
I only know blenders really early versions from back in the days/ interesting was a talented artist is able to get out of it.
A good example of what a capable artist can do with Blender. Is this Blender internal renderer or Yafray?

Thanks, Blender is really a great product, this project has been rendered with internal renderer using Ambient Occlusion.
