Funny stuff. Reminds me of the photos in Car & Trader before the final design is shown publicly.

Haha, yeah! There's always some photos like those of cars a few months before they are presented to the public. To generate some hype, maybe.

yep, that's why they call them "spy" pics. This is actually a very clever idea. It would be cool if the TV ads folowed the same "real" idea, like they are trying to sell you a real car.

very good marketing.

Ha ha! Thats pretty clever. I wish someone had some more time over there to push it a little more.

I know I would love to see some commercials or trailers done like that for Cars. I doubt many people who don't follow the car industry would think it was cool though. It's a nice marketing ploy though. I wish they would run with it.

oh wow. i had no idea the main character was called McQueen. that is so very cool of pixar, and shows what a loyal company they are. That man (McQueen) must truely be missed.

If that's real, why does he have such a blank look on his face? :)

As a reader of Autoweek for about 20 years I got a kick out of them when I opened the magazine. If you have seen a lot of spy shots, a little out of focus, or grainy this fit in pretty well.
