CGTalk - Mental Ray has fatal errors every second render

View Full Version : Mental Ray has fatal errors every second render

I can load up Maya, do a test render with M.R. , and thats it. any attempt to render again and mental ray has fatal errors and reccomends restarting maya. Then the cycle repeats.

I've noticed lately, the mental ray output window is saying out of memory..

Why would it be fine on the first try, then make me restart? Is it just a finicky program?
