Since when have 'they' had an accurate picture of the cg industry?

how [or why] would that have a good/bad impact on cg film [or artists]?

i already see someone crying out "NOOOOU" .....

i would think its a good move [from a busineess stand point] since disney has been their publisher for sometime.

The general perception of the problem is, Disney spent the past half decade (or more, depending on how you look at it) crashing and burning all creative energy they owned, associating themselves with "garbage products", rather than "quality products", as it used to be.

Pixar on the other hand, have been able to produce critically and commercially successful hit after hit.

If Disney buys Pixar, the fear will be that Pixars hands will make Disney garbage.
