If you have been using Linux for a while I won't have to tell you about the Gimp, I used it for the first time a while ago and then again recently when I heard that there was a Windows version of it these days. Its comparable, I haven't really seen how much so.

Now enough of the Gimp, and onto GimpShop. GimpShop is a conversion of the UI of the Gimp to make it look like Photoshop, so that people who are used to Photoshop can use the Gimp more easily.

Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for that GimpShop info, v_z. I've been trying to use the Gimp but it's hard to get used to the standard Gimp interface. . . GimpShop should help that a great deal. Now if only somebody would do the same thing for After Effects. . . :D

v_z thanks for the link. I've been using gimp now, cause I really don't want to use wine anymore. This will really help me. thanks
