very nice reel, especially the kid getting washed in to shore in the wave
ust a few comments:
- the contact info at the end is only on the screen for 1 second (I know I can't read that fast)
- the stills slideshow at the end seemed out of place - maybe sprinkle the stills throughout the reel, and try a ken burns slow pan of each one (or something more interesting than the "make slideshow" feel)
- the "speaker in the iceberg" sequence was confusing - what are you showing us there?

I second that. The iceberg thing looks a bit strange and really out of place. Anyway i like some of you works. Maybe you should place all of you best works (the car sequenz from the end) to front part of the movie.
In my opinion the reel is a bit slow and if i would look at 50 reels a day i wouldn't look further then the first 30 sec. so try to get you best work in that part.
Did you work on the "kleiner Eisbär" ? If yes try to get more movie seq. you have worked on and put them in there. Also the same with "Müller" -"Wen nder kleine Hunger kommt" try to get more out of that to.
cheers

Very nice, I didn't have a problem with the speed or pacing, but I would drop the fishbowl and the iceberg shots as they really are of a lower quality than the ret of the reel. Also as others have said, either keep the contact details up longer, or dont fade out, so they remain on screen as the final frame.

Thank you for your comments, I'll think about reworking my reel.
I only wish I had more to show from "Der kleine Eisbär 2" (the first three scenes after the intro with the underwater fishes and wave). But Warner only granted me those three. Since the DVD isn't even out yet I was kinda lucky to get those.
Well, I finished the Shot-Breakdown (http://www.zabiegly.de/common/anim/breakdown05.pdf) if anybody's interested
