I think you're doing well, although I would have chosen a more anonymous person than one from a series poster.

Actually, the top part is almost better than the original - in my eyes.

You had some trouble with the feet in the first version and now I see that you cover them up with grass. I think it's a good idea. Why bother ? No, I mean really ! It can always come later.

Myself, I don't like to draw ears and noses. OK, noses - you sort of HAVE to ! But ears, you can always cover them with hair or a hat for example ....

The mainthing is to create a pleasant image - that's how I see it anyway.

Now I'm curious to see what other elements you will add in your image, since you obviously decided to change direction.

Thanks for the comment. The feet, I actually fixed them and was satisfied. But grass that long naturally covers most feet up right? lol.
